Please read the following carefully
before submitting your artwork for screen printing. If you
are unsure of your artwork type, please e-mail
us for help.
• DIGITAL FILE SUBMISSION
GUIDELINES
We prefer artwork to be e-mailed
to us or supplied on a disk. Please e-mail artwork upon your
sales representative's approval to artwork@ideallogo.com.
Indicate file type and operating system. Providing a .jpeg
of color breakdowns is also a good idea.
• ART
Raster Art:
If you are providing your artwork in a 'pixel' or rasterized
format (JPEG, TIF, PSD) the ideal resolution would be 300
DPI at the final printed size. The absolute minimum acceptable
resolution is 130 DPI. We cannot use GIF format or any other
web resolution (72 DPI) artwork for screen printing but we
may be able to help you re-create your low rez artwork for
free or very cheap.
Vector
Art:
For best results with spot color artwork, use 'vector' art
formats instead. Acrobat PDF files may be an acceptable format
but artwork in a Word Document or Powerpoint file will usually
have to be re-created.
Acceptable programs are: Adobe Illustrator 10.0 or
lower; CorelDraw 10 or lower; Freehand 10 or
lower.
Fonts:
Please convert all text to
curves or outlines due to the fact that we may not have the
font used.
• DISK MEDIA
Please indicate if file was completed on a MAC or PC and
submitted in the following methods:
Floppy, Zip or CD.
